Duke over UNLV not even close...The Moon over the Ashton/A&B/Tri-state traveling all-stars.....YES !!!!!! The sports world is still talking of Sundays miracle run thru the competition by the men of the MOON !!!!!! Instant classic..Great win over the Philly Firefighters followed by the Moon's greatest moment a extra inning masterpiece against the Yankees of softball..They brought them in by plane-limos-private helicopters-trains from all over the country only to be beaten by the collection of misfits in grey and red....Outstanding, flawless outfield play by Brauny-Stevie Wonder-JCass-Jack kept the BOmbers dissmayed and shaking their heads all day long...Stricker putting on a clinic with the mitt ,Denofa signaling a new era at 1st -John and Keith pitching gems-even our team negro got a key hit in front of his adoring mother...Special kudos to KWOLF of course on his hit that brought the Bombers to their knees and Marvelous Matt Smith on a game for the ages at 1st base...5 unassisted putouts,handled every throw like the consumate professional he is...Big game Matty comes thru AGAIN....You boys make an old man very happy ...Thanks boys for the best softball weekend ever...Cool Papa......... |
