| My take on blogs....
Now there's nothing wrong with blogs, I occasionally probably
talk/write too much and my site sometimes looks more like a blog anyway.
For those of you who don't know, a blog is sort of an online journal,
except smart people in real life keep journals to themselves to become
better people. This unfortunately hasn't rubbed off on people
online.....Instead of writing a journal or diary or whatever, people
write blogs detailing how they took their belly bunt lint out at 9:37am
or even better talk shit about their boss/school/wife and get
fired/divorced or something cool to that effect.
Now, some people have been able to produce blogs that have such a big
following that they trump small newspapers and they are at the point
where instead of watching the next American Idol, idiots are waiting to
see what John Smith is doing at 10:00pm (he's picking out belly button
lint). Now I was going to list below what some of the most popular
blogs are, but I really don't know, and nor do I care. Some of the most
popular ones contain seemingly useful stuff, like this site (I said
seemingly). And then you have some guy rambling about his life in
between the seemingly useful stuff which makes it somewhat
interesting. Anyhow, the whole problem with blogs is that in
between posting the interesting stuff about their lives people post all
this uninteresting shit just so they can call it a blog and that's what
makes them annoying. I'm probably guilty of blogging myself so I
guess it's fine because surely I'm not an idiot with too much time on my
hands....
